OverviewWe are seeking a client‑facing Program Manager to serve as the primary point of accountability for the delivery of cybersecurity testing services. This role bridges client business objectives, IT and security operations, and internal delivery teams to ensure security testing programs are executed professionally, predictably, and with minimal operational disruption, delivering measurable value to clients.
The Program Manager leads program-level resources planning and utilization, owns financial performance, including budget adherence, margin targets, and cost control, and monitors billable versus non‑billable efforts to protect margins.
They provide executive-level reporting on program health covering scope, schedule, risk, and budget, while driving delivery governance and continuous improvement across all engagements. The Program Manager also mentors project managers, acts as an escalation point for critical issues, and serves as a Project manager for high-priority engagements when required. Success in the role is measured by client satisfaction, program predictability, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary client point of contact for security testing programs
- Translate client business goals into executable security testing program plans
- Plan, allocate, and manage resources across multiple engagements, ensuring sustainable resource allocation and protecting company margins
- Monitor utilization, capacity, and workload
- Develop accurate staffing and delivery forecasts
- Supervise and coach project managers
- Serve as project manager for high-sensitivity engagements
- Coordinate security engineers, IT, and software development teams
- Align testing with end-client IT operations and change management processes
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Lead client status meetings and executive briefings
- Establish and continuously improve program quality standards
- Identify trends and drive corrective actions
Ensure alignment with client objectives, business sets, program governance, and best practices - Own program level financial performance, including budget adherence, target margin, and strict cost control
- Provide executive level reporting on program health, including scope schedule, risk, and budget
- Support account growth and long-term client success
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Strong understanding of business operations
- Knowledge of IT operations and infrastructure
- Familiarity with SDLC
- Understanding of cybersecurity operations
- Experience with resource management and forecasting
- Experience supervising project managers
- Strong executive communication skills
- Good technical skills
- Successful candidates will have working familiarity with cloud technology, software development, networking, and underlying components.
- Most importantly, successful candidates must be interested in learning about new technologies
- Experience delivering cybersecurity testing services
- PMP, PgMP, CISSP, or similar
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO, MITRE ATT&CK
- Consulting or professional services background
