The Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the church’s ongoing data initiatives by assisting with the documentation of existing applications and data sources. This work will contribute directly to the creation of a comprehensive data warehouse, improving data accessibility and decision-making. In addition, this position will partner with the finance team to facilitate the adoption and integration of Copilot tools, helping to drive efficiency and enhance workflow processes throughout the ministry.

• Document existing applications and data sources to support the development of a unified data warehouse
• Collaborate with IT and other ministry teams to gather and analyze system requirements for improved data accessibility
• Assist in integrating Copilot tools within ministry workflows to enhance efficiency and streamline processes
• Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation to ensure system transparency and continuity
• Support the creation of training resources and facilitate knowledge sharing for new technology adoption across ministries
• Participate in process reviews to identify opportunities for workflow optimization and recommend actionable improvements
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data sources used for reporting and analytics purposes
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for compliance and audit needs, adhering to organizational standards
• Partner with IT and Data teams to translate ministry and operational needs into data requirements for the centralized data warehouse
• Capture data definitions, business rules and critical metrics required for warehouse development
• Assist with data validation, testing and quality checks to ensure accurate reporting and analytics
• Create or help create training materials and conduct training sessions for IT deliverables

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field preferred
• 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis or a similar role
• Exposure to automation tools or AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) preferred

This is a full-time position with work hours Monday-Friday.
