Systems Administrator, Technical Support
This position is to assist with the implementation and support of the Loan Sphere Bankruptcy and Foreclosure application. This position will also provide support for the Bankruptcy Notice of Payment Change application. The current team that supports these applications (along with others) consists of 12 people in the US and India.
Day to day responsibilities consist of:
- Configuring roles and features on windows servers for IIS and Windows services
- Receiving code packages from development, updating configuration files based on information contained in architecture diagrams, and deploying to the environments (UAT, Performance, Prod, and DR).
- Supporting the environment while it is being certified by internal testers, and resolving issues found during testing.
Top skills/preferences in the role (please include any relevant technologies needed):
Primary skills:
• Deployment of windows applications and services (.NET applications)
• Deployment of IIS sites to windows servers
• Configuration of .NET applications (modification of application.config files and web.config files)
• Experience with Certificates on a Windows Server
• Troubleshooting of windows applications and services (.NET applications) and IIS hosted websites.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Understanding of networks, ports, firewalls, and how they relate to application communication
• Ability to work on projects with minimal guidance
Secondary Skills (Nice to have but not required):
• Experience with IBM Urban Code Deploy
• Power Shell and Batch Scripting Experience (At least with running, and preferably with writing)
• Managing File System Shares and Permissions
• Experience with Microsoft Failover Clustering (SQL and Application)
