Position Summary The Information Security Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing secure AI systems across the enterprise. This role ensures that AI technologies are deployed securely, ethically, and in compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The architect will work across technical, security, compliance, and business teams to support secure AI adoption and help establish enterprise AI governance.
Key Responsibilities AI Security ArchitectureDevelop and maintain security frameworks for AI systems, including Copilot Studio, Azure AI models, Power Platform integrations, and third-party LLM platforms. Define and enforce security controls, access policies, logging, monitoring, and alerting for AI agents and AI-enabled applications.
AI Risk ManagementConduct AI-focused risk assessments addressing threats such as prompt injection, model drift, data leakage, and adversarial attacks. Build AI threat models and lead red-team or security testing activities to identify vulnerabilities.
Governance, Privacy, and ComplianceEnsure AI systems comply with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and internal data governance standards. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and HR teams to align AI usage with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Secure Integration & Lifecycle ManagementPartner with engineering and platform teams to securely integrate AI into enterprise systems, such as Service Now, Oracle, Microsoft Viva, and other operational platforms. Define standards for secure creation, deployment, monitoring, and retirement of AI agents. Establish best practices for secure prompt engineering and model usage.
Training & AwarenessProvide training and guidance to technical and non-technical teams on secure AI usage. Promote secure AI practices across business units and support the AI governance committee or panels.
Incident ResponseDevelop and maintain incident response playbooks for AI-related security events. Participate in security escalations and support mitigation and remediation efforts.
Required Skills & Experience- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI, and Power Platform security.
- Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, secure prompt engineering, and model interpretability.
- Understanding of AI threat vectors and enterprise security best practices.
- Familiarity with integrating AI into enterprise platforms (Service Now, Oracle, Microsoft 365 ecosystem).
- Experience evaluating third‑party AI tools for security posture and recommending approval or restrictions.
- Background in cloud security architecture, identity and access management, and data protection.
- Experience working within cross‑functional IT, compliance, and AI governance groups.
