Oracle HCM Business Systems Analyst (Payroll)
Location:
Jacksonville, FL (local required, onsite 3x per week)
Pay Rate: $55.00 - $60.00 / Hourly

Responsibilities- Partner with business users to understand and document requirements that impact payroll workflows and system functionality.
- Review current payroll processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for standardization or improvement.
- Translate requirements into system design specifications and support configuration efforts that align with organizational policies and leading practices.
- Work closely with technical teams throughout system updates or new feature deployments, including configuration validation, testing, and rollout support.
- Provide onboarding, guidance, and support to end users adopting new payroll processes or system features.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing maintenance activities.
- Maintain thorough documentation for processes, configurations, enhancements, and operational procedures.
- Support audit, compliance, and security activities related to payroll data and system access.
- Degree in business, information systems, or a related field.
- Background as a systems or business analyst with hands‑on experience supporting cloud based payroll modules.
- Strong understanding of payroll operations, regulatory requirements, and general tax or compliance considerations.
- Experience configuring, maintaining, or supporting enterprise HR and payroll applications, including costing, calculations, and system setup.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and manage details with accuracy.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing tasks independently and balancing multiple projects.
