Experience:
5-10 years
Job:
- Ability to create and manage complex queries
- Ability to support a large Postgresql database in Azure
- Ability to support an AzureSQL database in Azure
- Ability to perform full backups and restore
- Ability to monitor capacity and performance
- Ability to review explain plans and performance metrics and optimize the database
- Ability to work CST hours
- Ability to work with developers
- Experience managing tasks in Azure Dev Ops(ADO) or Jira
- MSFT Event Hub and streaming data experience that would be a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience with SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL Database)..
- Understanding of data warehouses and dimensional data models.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Very Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
