Sr Network Automation Engineer

Location: 100% REMOTE!

Role Overview

The Senior Network Automation Engineer is a hands-on Engineer responsible for provisioning, configuring, and automating on prem and cloud services solutions. This role involves designing and implementing automated software delivery pipelines for enterprise deployments. A key focus is on providing solutions that are robust, scalable, and highly available. This position requires a professional who is passionate about learning and enjoys a deep dive into complex problems and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the network architecture team to automate and generate Ansible code for various network devices including Palo Alto, SD-WAN, Cisco, and Aruba.
• Configure cloud services and cloud-native container orchestration platforms for high-traffic applications.
• Automate application delivery pipelines for containerized and legacy applications running in the cloud and on-premise.
• Provision, configure, and maintain infrastructure for multiple production and test environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively reduce Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) for production incidents through automated healing mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot issues in real time as part of incident response.
• Handle operational tasks, including service tickets and changing passwords, with a focus on overall case resolution and CI/CD concepts.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Experience in an enterprise-level environment is required.

• Ansible for enterprise-level automation.

  Experience:
  
  Understanding of network topology, configurations, subnets, ports, routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, SD-WAN, BGP, Cisco, Aruba, and Juniper. Ability to log in, change ports, and perform troubleshooting.
• Cloud Networking:
  Knowledge of cloud concepts with experience in platforms such as GCP, AWS, Azure, or Oracle.
• Azure Dev Ops and Azure CI/CD.
