Together, We Save Lives® AI Specialist (Artificial Intelligence & Automation) Position Summary The AI Specialist will lead the insertion and deployment of AI into the Cadre Operating Model. The position will work with employees throughout Cadre to cultivate and grow AI knowledge and use through in-person and face to face training and be the technical resource to help our process subject matter experts build practical solutions using AI to reduce waste, improve insight, reduce cycle times, improve responsiveness, accelerate innovation and make practical what was previously difficult.

Our AI focus will identify, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that create a sustainable competitive advantage, simplify business processes, and elevate the quality of service delivered to customers. This role connects business priorities with advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI to drive practical, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities AI Strategy & Competitive Advantage Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases that strengthen market differentiation Partner with leaders to align AI initiatives with strategic growth, innovation, and customer experience objectives Translate complex business challenges into scalable AI-enabled solutions Business Simplification & Process Transformation Design and deploy AI-powered solutions that simplify work, reduce complexity, and improve operational clarity Streamline decision-making by enabling better access to data, insights, and predictive analytics Customer Experience & Service Excellence Develop AI solutions that enhance responsiveness, accuracy, and consistency in customer interactions Support initiatives that improve service levels, speed of delivery, and overall customer satisfaction Leverage AI to anticipate customer needs and enable proactive service models but preserving human interaction Model Development & Implementation Build, test, and deploy machine learning and generative AI models in production environments Utilize tools such as Python, Azure AI, OpenAI, and enterprise data platforms Rapidly prototype new capabilities and scale proven solutions across the organization Data Management & Governance Ensure data quality, accessibility, and governance to enable reliable AI outputs Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to support scalable data infrastructure Maintain compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards Cross-Functional Leadership & Enablement Partner across Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, Product, and IT to embed AI into the business Act as a trusted advisor on AI capabilities, opportunities, and best practices Drive adoption by training and enabling teams to effectively use AI tools Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field 3–7+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or advanced analytics Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch)

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Preferred Experience with generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, Copilot tools) Background in workflow automation and process improvement Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, data platforms) Experience in B2B and manufacturing Key Competencies Strong business acumen with a focus on differentiation and value creation Ability to simplify complex problems and drive practical solutions Clear communicator capable of translating technical concepts for business…
