Job Description: SAP FICO Consultant — eDocument / e-Invoicing for (France & Spain)

Role: SAP FICO Consultant with hands-on SAP eDocument/e-Invoicing implementation experience
Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in SAP eDocument and e‑Invoicing implementations, specifically for France and Spain
. The consultant will work closely with the Solution Architect to finalize the end‑to‑end solution design and take ownership of implementation, testing, and deployment.
The ideal candidate must understand country-specific e-invoicing and e‑reporting regulations and be able to translate tax and regulatory requirements into SAP functional configurations, source‑data mappings, integration requirements, and business rules.
Key ResponsibilitiesWork with the Solution Architect to define and document the end-to-end SAP e-Invoicing solution for France and Spain.
Drive the solution through implementation, testing, deployment, and production readiness.
Coordinate with local and global IT, Finance, Tax teams, and SAP support.
Translate country-specific e-invoicing and e-reporting regulations into SAP functional, data, and integration requirements.
Define SAP source-data mappings, business rules, interfaces, exception handling, and reconciliation processes.
Coordinate with technical teams to build, integrate, and validate SAP interfaces with external e-invoicing platforms.
Lead and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test preparation, defect resolution, and end-to-end validation.
Identify solution gaps, data issues, and process challenges and drive them to resolution.
Ensure the solution is scalable, compliant with regulatory requirements, and supportable after deployment.
Strong hands‑on experience with SAP eDocument / e-Invoicing implementation
.Strong SAP FICO functional and technical knowledge, particularly SAP FI/Accounts Receivable (AR).
Experience delivering the full implementation lifecycle, from solution design through configuration/build, testing, and production deployment.
Understanding of country-specific e-invoicing and e-reporting requirements for France and Spain.
Experience translating tax and regulatory requirements into SAP functional specifications, data mappings, and integration designs.
Experience coordinating with Finance, Tax, IT, Solution Architects, and technical integration teams.
Experience with SIT, UAT, defect management, reconciliation, and end-to-end testing.
