User Researcher

We are looking for a User Researcher to join a growing User-Centred Design (UCD) team. In this role, you will work on impactful digital projects across public and private sector environments, helping teams understand user needs and translate insights into better digital services and products.

You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure user needs remain central throughout the design and delivery process.

• User Research & Insight Plan and conduct user research aligned with product goals and delivery stages.
• Apply a variety of research methods to understand user behaviour, needs, and pain points.
• Translate research findings into actionable insights that support design and product decisions.
• Present research outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Work closely with stakeholders to promote and embed user-centred design practices.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions to gather insights and ideas.
• Help teams interpret and apply user research findings effectively.

• Experience conducting user research within agile digital delivery environments.
• Strong ability to translate research findings into clear insights and recommendations.
• Experience working on complex digital services or transformation programmes.
• Familiarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and service design principles is highly desirable.
