Location: Remote (PST hours)
Duration: 6 month Contract-to-Hire
Work Authorization: W2 only (No C2C or sponsorship)
Summary:This role focuses on platform administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity management, and system optimization across critical production environments.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting Java-based platforms, Linux environments, and middleware technologies, with a strong operational mindset and a passion for solving complex technical issues.
Responsibilities- Administer and support middleware, integration, and application server platforms.
- Monitor and optimize CPU, memory, JVM, and overall system performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Administer and support Apache NiFi and related integration technologies.
- Manage clustered environments, scalability, and platform capacity.
- Support upgrades, patching, and security certificate management.
- Partner with development, infrastructure, and security teams to improve platform reliability and performance.
- 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Middleware, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Experience supporting Java-based applications and JVM tuning.
- Hands‑on experience with JBoss, Wild Fly, Tomcat, or similar application servers.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with performance tuning, capacity planning, and high‑availability environments.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
