As an IT team member, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing technology solutions that are the foundation of the world class customer service that our customers expect and deserve – now and in the future. The Manager, Virtualization & Digital Workspace Platforms is responsible for leading a small team of engineers supporting Genworth's virtual desktop infrastructure, application delivery, cloud-hosted desktop services, and virtualization platforms.

This role provides both technical leadership and people leadership, ensuring the environment remains secure, resilient, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives. We are seeking a technical leader who can effectively balance engineering expertise with people leadership. This individual will lead a small team responsible for virtualization and end user computing platforms while remaining actively engaged in architecture, technical strategy, and major incident resolution.

The successful candidate will bring deep experience in Azure cloud technologies, Citrix VDI and application delivery platforms, and modern virtualization solutions, coupled with the ability to coach and develop talent, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across the environment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership skills and thrives in a hands-on environment where collaboration, innovation, and customer experience are paramount.
