Transport Driver Level IV

Primary Job Role

• Inspects truck and trailer before dispatch. Ensures all equipment meets operating and safety requirements.
• Loads, hauls and unloads machines at customer job sites or at Ring Power facilities.
• Maintains appearance of equipment and notifies Dispatcher of any problems.
• Maintains current knowledge of all state and federal laws; maintains compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
• Maintains an accurate log book.
• Ensures all required documents are available for haul.
• Checks for customer abuse of equipment. Notes damages to equipment and informs Dispatcher.
• Maintains a good relationship with customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–4 years experience required.

• Able to comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
• Minimum 3–5 years of class 7 & 8 driving experience required.
• Must possess a clean and valid Class A Driver's License.

• 3‑5 years of equipment transport experience.

Job requirements change requiring re‑training to stay current every 1–2 years.
