Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on AR Credit Manager to join their high-performing finance team. This individual will drive credit policy, collections strategy, and AR operations across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 10 (3 direct, 7 indirect) across AR and credit functions
• Develop and implement credit policies and best practices across all regions
• Guide AR Managers through escalated credit decisions and ensure oversight of credit queues
• Analyze AR performance, improve reporting, and streamline payment application processes
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance to align credit strategy with business goals
• Manage legal collections processes and liaise with external attorneys as needed
• Ensure compliance with credit regulations and internal controls
• Serve as a key partner to regional managers and leadership

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in AR or credit roles, including 3+ years leading a team
• Proven success in credit decision-making, collections strategy, and process improvement
• Strong Excel skills; ERP experience required (Eclipse a plus)
• Familiarity with third-party credit tools such as NACM and Equifax
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
