The Client Data Management Team Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of client static data services. This position combines leadership, hands-on data management, and process ownership. The Team Lead is responsible for guiding a team of analysts, ensuring data integrity, and driving operational excellence through process improvements and automation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of Client Data Analysts, providing daily guidance and support.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex data-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Onboard, train, and develop team members to maintain high standards and knowledge.
  • Perform and oversee client entity and account data setup, maintenance, and validation.
  • Review critical client data changes for accuracy and compliance before implementation.
  • Ensure timely delivery of client onboarding and data change requests, maintaining quality.
  • Own and continuously improve client data management processes, identifying risks and inefficiencies.
  • Drive automation initiatives in partnership with IT and Operations for efficient processing.
  • Define and track key operational metrics to identify trends and performance issues.
  • Support management with insights on team performance, risks, and capacity.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in client static data management or similar roles in financial services.
  • Experience leading or mentoring analysts, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
  • In-depth understanding of data governance, controls, and operational risk management.
  • Ability to drive process improvement and automation initiatives successfully.
  • Skilled in defining and utilizing operational metrics for performance management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a practical approach to data management.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using internal trading systems, Microsoft Office, and FIS Account Platform.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
