FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Welding Production Supervisor for an exciting client! The company has enjoyed an excellent growth trend and has a strong reputation for engineering and fabricating superior products, a personalized customer service approach, and a proactive approach to safety.

This is a 2nd shift opportunity with runway to Plant Management!

So, what will you be doing as Welding Production Supervisor?

-Provide leadership and direction to a team of 20+ associates.

-Ensure team safety by setting an example and maintaining high standards for cleanliness, organization, work practices, and corrective actions.

-Work closely with the Plant Manager to implement process improvements

-Establish and maintain a cross-training platform

-Enhance employee morale through communication, coaching, and mentoring

To be successful you will need…

-HS Diploma or equivalent

-5+ years of Team Leadership experience

-5+ years of welding experience

-Strong understanding of workplace safety

-Experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing

Things considered a plus…

-BS in Operations Management

-Previous experience in welding in a heavy fabrication environment

-Previous experience with welding trusses
