Are you ready to put your Program Manager experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems sector wants you to join our Team as a Program Manager 3 for our Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) P-3 program as a part of our Platform Systems Modernization (PSM) Operating Unit (OU).
The program is responsible for the maintenance and support for the P-3 fleet and mission execution with a diverse group of team members in several geographical locations. This position will require 50% travel, with the primary location being Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities- Leading all phases of the program life cycle from inception (proposal development) through startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout).
- Managing cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems, and related activities.
- Cultivating customer relationships and identifying opportunities within the customer community.
- Developing new business opportunities through long-term strategic planning, capture planning, and development of proposals and business plans.
- Establishing a program organization that addresses customer requirements and coordinates internal and external sub-organizations.
- Leading cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program objectives.
- Measuring and reporting program performance; delivering presentations to customers and stakeholders.
- Participating in contract negotiations, including changes, budgets, schedules, and terms and conditions.
- Establishing design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
- Creating, reviewing, and finalizing the program Statement of Work.
- Identifying, distributing, tracking, and completing program requirements; establishing and managing baselines.
- Developing and adhering to budget baselines using Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar methodologies.
- Identifying, allocating, and managing program resources, including workforce planning.
