Annual income averages $60,000 – this includes average overtime, weekly production bonuses, and annual profit sharing.

• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures; attend safety meetings and participate in the safety program.
• Perform general labor duties such as sweeping, shoveling, and general clean‑up of the warehouse and yard; operate forklift as needed.
• Assist the warehouse associate with weighing, sorting, and moving material; physically handle materials, supplies, etc.
• Inspect incoming scrap and/or cars, advise customers of accepted and non‑accepted scrap, and take deductions as needed.
• Willing to cross‑train in other positions and assist other employees as needed; complete other duties as assigned by manager.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, non‑stop outdoor environment while providing excellent customer service.
• Minimum of 1 year of general labor in heavy manufacturing or warehouse settings, preferably in the scrap metal or construction industries.
• Ability to stand or walk up to 12 hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and frequently lift/carry/push/pull 10‑25 lbs.
• Ability to work in extreme heat and be exposed to weather.
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes of priority and complete tasks safely and effectively without constant supervision.
• Dependable attendance with consistency.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to work overtime, off‑hours, weekends, and holidays outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Candidates within 50 miles of the location preferred.
