Job DescriptionWe are seeking Production Operators to join our team at the Clay Hill, Florida plant. This state-of-the-art manufacturing plant produces premium asphalt roofing shingles in a high-speed, continuous process environment.
Position OverviewReporting to the Production Supervisor, successful candidates will operate machinery, manage raw materials, resolve line stoppages, clear jams, verify quality standards, and prepare products for shipment.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality
- Conduct regular quality checks
- Operate manufacturing equipment following standard instructions
- Operate counterbalance, propane-powered forklift
- Record waste and downtime data
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing or construction preferred
- Minimum 1 year forklift operating experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in English
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds routinely
- Stand or walk for 90% of the shift
- Work at heights and in confined spaces
Starting at: $21.63 per hour.
