Bottling Line Operator – Bacardi

Responsibilities- Operate bottling line equipment, including depalletizing, filling, rinsing, capping, labeling, case packing, palletization and packaging machinery safely, correctly, and efficiently to meet production goals.
- Load and replenish materials such as bottles, labels, caps, and packaging supplies as needed.
- Continuously monitor equipment performance, conduct routine maintenance to identify and troubleshoot minor issues, perform changeovers and autonomous maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Regularly perform and document product quality inspections in accordance with SOPs to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Prioritize and ensure all safety protocols and SOPs are accurately followed and documented; maintain a safe and compliant work environment; perform housekeeping activities.
- Engage in SMED (Single‑Minute Exchange of Dies) activities to streamline changeover processes and improve line performance.
- Accurately document production data, downtime and other key performance metrics.
- Work closely with supervisors and teammates to support smooth production flow and perform other duties as assigned.
- Actively participate in safety initiatives, Lean manufacturing practices, problem‑solving sessions and Self‑Directed Teams to enhance line efficiencies, quality and overall performance.
- Strong mathematical, reading and comprehension skills.
- Good communication, documentation and organization skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment monitoring.
- Familiarity with quality and safety standards in a production setting.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to operate production machinery.
- Self‑motivated and proactive.

- Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work first or second shift as needed.
- Attention to Detail – ability to spot and address issues in the production process to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Time Management – manage tasks efficiently to meet production deadlines.
- Adaptability – respond to changes in production schedules or unexpected equipment issues with a calm and resourceful approach.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or bottling environment preferred, particularly in the wine and spirits or food and beverage industry.
- Experience working on automated bottling or packaging lines.
- Knowledge of wine and spirits production processes.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement practices.
