Position: Aircraft Engine Repairer with Security Clearance

Aircraft Engine Repairer with Security Clearance

Location:

Jacksonville, FL

Salary: $24.72 – $28.80 per hour

  • Assemble gas turbine engines, various aircraft, and subassemblies; rebuild key components such as compressors and hot sections.
  • Inspect disassembled parts for defects, including warping, weight discrepancies, and wiring harness continuity.
  • Evaluate and recondition subassemblies as specified, following blueprints and specifications.
  • Document inspections and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
  • US Citizen, and meet Department of Defense eligibility requirements.
  • Direct deposit participation and successful completion of E‑Verify.
  • Eligibility for and successful completion of a pre‑employment drug test, with subject to random testing.
  • Proper use of personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specification sheets.
  • Experience with gas turbine engine maintenance and repair, including disassembly, reassembly, and defect identification.
  • Strong knowledge of measuring instruments (e.g., electronic scales, gauges, calipers) and automated test equipment.
  • Prior working or volunteer experience in motor/aircraft maintenance as applicable.
  • Availability for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, & holidays.
Conditions of Employment
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must be willing to attend all scheduled pre‑employment appointments.
  • Must comply with occupational safety and medical surveillance programs.
  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment continuously during work shift.
