Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting various engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent teamwork abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Jacksonville, FL - Northside 32218

Pay Range: 23-28 depending on experience

Shift: 3rd shift

What’s the Job?
  • Support maintenance activities and technical work while assisting the Engineering Team with various projects.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in a high-speed production environment.
  • Interpret and program PLC/HMI systems, including Allen Bradley and SLC family using RS Logix 500 software.
  • Conduct breakdown and failure analysis to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and equipment functionality.
What’s Needed?
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in packaging or high-speed production.
  • Proficiency in electrical and electronic systems, including AC/DC motors, frequency drives, and wiring.
  • Experience with mechanical systems such as pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
