Quality Technician

We are currently hiring Test Technicians for a manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you will perform quality inspections (visual and testing) of electrical cabinets and industrial power systems, use electrical testing tools and equipment, and document quality inspections. This position is responsible for quality inspections, assembly, and testing the functionality of Power Distribution Centers and individual components within the completed project.

Overview
  • Location:

    Jacksonville, FL (north side)
  • Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm (M-F)
  • Pay: $19-$23/hr (based on experience)
  • Manufacturing environment (non-climate controlled)
  • Perform quality inspections and functional testing of units in accordance with established work instructions, guidelines, and internal quality documentation.
  • Assemble components in accordance with the bill of materials (BOM) and detailed work instructions.
  • Execute established repair procedures on units as required to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team coordinators to address troubleshooting needs, rework tasks, and Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes.
Responsibilities
  • Perform visual and functional inspections of electrical cabinets and power distribution equipment.
  • Use electrical testing instruments to evaluate system performance.
  • Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
  • Assemble and disassemble components following BOM and work instructions.
  • Repair or rework units as needed to meet quality standards.
  • Communicate issues and coordinate with team coordinators for RMA and rework.
Qualifications
  • Quality experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar Quality Management Systems.
  • Basic computer skills (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments.
  • High attention to detail.
