Per Diem Welder position in Goose Creek, SC
$140 per diem $32-38/hr
REQUIRED - Must have worked for Huntington Ingalls in SC or VA previously to be considered for this position
Job DescriptionPerform welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys. Determine layouts and weld parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Responsibilities- Mig Pulse arc welding.
- Flux Core welding.
- Perform welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies.
- Use welding metals and metal alloys to meet required tolerances.
- Determine layouts and weld parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Experience with welding techniques such as pulse arc, Mig, and flux core.
- Ability to perform fabrication tasks.
This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.56 - $38.90/hr.
