Bottling Line Operators

We are seeking skilled Bottling Line Operators to operate various production machinery including depalletizing, filling, rinsing, capping, labeling, case packing, case labeling, palletization, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and safe operation of bottling line machines, troubleshoot problems, perform maintenance, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Operate bottling line machines/equipment in a correct, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Detect malfunctions of bottling line machines/equipment and troubleshoot problems promptly.
  • Address and resolve equipment issues or elevate to Team Coordinator/Supervisor.
  • Make adjustments to machines to achieve optimal performance while following all safety protocols.
  • Inspect product and packaging materials throughout various stages for quality to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform and document all reports and product quality inspections in accordance with SOPs.
  • Actively participate in safety initiatives, problem‑solving, Lean, Self‑Directed Teams, continuous improvement, and line efficiencies.
  • Perform changeovers and autonomous maintenance on equipment.
  • Participate in SMED activities to improve overall changeover process and line performance.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are accurately followed and documented.
  • Perform housekeeping activities as required.
  • Ability to work any shift and/or overtime as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in depalletizing, filling, rinsing, capping, labeling, case packing, and palletization.
  • High‑speed manufacturing and production experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong mathematical, reading, and comprehension skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Self‑motivated and proactive with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Shift
  • Bottling operators work 2nd Shift (3PM - 11:30PM), Monday-Friday.
  • Must be open to training on days for 2-6 weeks and then moving to second shift.
  • First Shift will be 7AM - 3:30PM.
Work Environment

Work activity takes place in a bottling facility with exposure to noise, vibration, fumes, and operating equipment. The environment may experience fluctuating temperatures (both hot and cold). Bottling operators work 2nd Shift (3pm - 11:30pm), Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
