Job Description

Engage in the manufacturing and assembly of Industrial Power Systems within a heavy‑industrial manufacturing facility. This role involves mechanical assembly, working with sheet metal, and assembling metal enclosures for the systems. Dealing with hand/power tools including drills, tape measure, screwdrivers, wrenches, and impact tools. Units are on average 8 ft. tall and some of the assembly will take place inside of the unit.

• Perform mechanical assembly of industrial power systems using hand and power tools.
• Work with sheet metal to assemble metal enclosures.
• Interpret and assemble units based on blueprints.
• Assemble some units inside, which are approximately 8 ft. tall.

• Experience with hand and power tools is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in using a tape measure is mandatory.
• Physical ability to stand for the entire shift and lift 50+ pounds.

• Prior manufacturing assembly experience is preferred.
• Comfortable with general labor tasks and mechanical assembly.

• 2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm
• $17.50 - 19.25/hr (depending on experience)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
