Job Description
Engage in the manufacturing and assembly of Industrial Power Systems within a heavy‑industrial manufacturing facility. This role involves mechanical assembly, working with sheet metal, and assembling metal enclosures for the systems. Dealing with hand/power tools including drills, tape measure, screwdrivers, wrenches, and impact tools. Units are on average 8 ft. tall and some of the assembly will take place inside of the unit.
Responsibilities- Perform mechanical assembly of industrial power systems using hand and power tools.
- Work with sheet metal to assemble metal enclosures.
- Interpret and assemble units based on blueprints.
- Assemble some units inside, which are approximately 8 ft. tall.
- Experience with hand and power tools is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency in using a tape measure is mandatory.
- Physical ability to stand for the entire shift and lift 50+ pounds.
- Prior manufacturing assembly experience is preferred.
- Comfortable with general labor tasks and mechanical assembly.
- 2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm
- $17.50 - 19.25/hr (depending on experience)
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
