We are seeking an engaged and experienced Plant Manager to lead one of our facilities. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, people leadership, and business growth as we continue scaling rapidly.
- Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership of plant operations and Site management, including production, quality, safety, and maintenance.
- Set, monitor, and achieve KPIs related to productivity, yield, safety, site organization and cleanliness, and cost management.
- Build a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
- Partner with leadership to align plant objectives with overall company strategy.
- Lead and develop plant teams, ensuring effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Implement best practices in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and quality management.
- Serve as a key contributor to the company’s growth and scalability initiatives.
- Flexibly adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced, private equity environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or another similar field.
- 5+ years of plant management or operations leadership experience in manufacturing (agronomy, ag inputs, fertilizers, chemicals, or related industries preferred).
- Proven track record of people leadership, with experience managing 20-25 employees.
- Strong business acumen with KPI and results-driven mindset.
- Experience improving efficiency, quality, and safety metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in agronomy, fertilizers, crop inputs, or related industries.
- Familiarity with private equity–backed or high-growth companies.
- Experience leading both union and non-union work forces (if applicable).
- Lean/Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement certification.
