The Marketing and External Communications Leader is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise-wide marketing and external communications strategy. This role oversees brand management, events, campaigns, CRM governance, marketing operations and external communications to drive business growth and enhance client experience. The director will lead a high‑performing team and collaborate closely with executive leadership, operations leadership, business development, sales enablement and internal communications to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
This is a hybrid position based out of one of our RS&H Offices located in Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa or Florida.
- Lead enterprise-wide marketing strategy, including campaign development, market‑specific planning and execution to drive sales and brand visibility.
- Oversee external communications aligned with market, client, industry and thought leadership.
- Manage brand development and governance, including visual identity, brand templates and enterprise brand campaigns.
- Guide digital marketing efforts, including website content, social media strategy, marketing automation and analytics.
- Oversee marketing operations including collateral creation, asset management, advertising and national sponsor ships.
- Support client experience initiatives through external communications, feedback coordination and reputation management.
- Lead creative services including graphics, photography, video and visualization to support marketing and thought leadership.
- Manage external events and conferences strategy, including sponsor ships, attendance planning and association engagement.
- Partner with CRM and data teams to integrate marketing content and campaigns, and lead market research to inform strategy and optimise engagement.
- Collaborate with sales enablement, market leads and operations to align marketing efforts with growth strategies and client needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing and external communications, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Proven ability to lead integrated marketing and communications functions.
- Strong strategic thinking, executive presence and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Expertise in brand management, campaign strategy and digital marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through change.
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business.
- Experience with CRM systems and governance (e.g. Salesforce).
- Experience in professional services, architecture/engineering or consulting industries.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Ceros).
- Certification in change management or communications (e.g. Prosci, IABC).
The base salary range for this position in Denver, CO is $ to $. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, skills, internal equity and geographic location, as permitted by Colorado law.
