Description
Glendale Community Church – Jacksonville, FL Glendale Community Church is prayerfully seeking a part‑time Minister to Children to lead the re‑launch of our children’s ministry. Our church is small and was deeply impacted by COVID, but God is bringing new growth, and we are excited to see young families returning. We need someone with a heart for children and a calling to help them grow in their faith.
Responsibilities- Re‑start and lead the children’s ministry from the ground up.
- Teach and disciple children in the truths of Scripture.
- Recruit, equip, and encourage volunteers to serve in children’s ministry.
- Work with church leadership to create a safe, welcoming, Christ‑centered environment for children.
- Develop age‑appropriate programs, curriculum, and activities that lead children to know Jesus as their Savior.
- A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- A genuine love for children and passion for their spiritual growth.
- Creativity and vision to build and sustain a ministry from its early stages.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in children’s ministry (preferred, but not required).
