Job Overview

Registered Nurse, Pulmonary/Cardiac PCU Fulltime Nights, Baptist South. Provides professional nursing care based on the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation), coordinates care with supportive personnel and ancillary services, and involves patients and families in planning and education about disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate for patients requiring medical or surgical care, chronic conditions, or minor injuries or illnesses.

Diploma nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care experience.

• Assess patient condition and plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with the care team.
• Organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel and coordinate with ancillary services.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and care plans.
• Advocate for patients and ensure comprehensive care across medical, surgical, or other needs.

• Associate s Degree or Equivalent Experience

• Bachelor s Degree - Nursing

• Less than 1 year Medical-Surgical Nursing Experience
• Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
