• Performs basic life support, advanced life support, and critical care nursing during inter‑facility transports.
• Functions under standing orders of the physician or Medical Director and is expected to perform assessments, provide treatment, and monitor patients during transports.
• Communicates effectively in confined spaces (ambulance, helicopter, fixed‑wing) and relays information to the MD and other medical professionals.
• Remains calm, focused, and employs strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills to assess patients and deliver appropriate care.
• Provides emergency care as needed, including CPR, endotracheal intubation, needle aspiration of the chest, and umbilical assessment during medication delivery.

• • Pediatric ground ambulance (PICU or Peds ED experience) – mid‑shift 13:00 to 01:00, 36 hours/week, with opportunity to complete fixed‑wing transports.
• • Neonatal/Pediatric ground ambulance (2,000 hours NICU III/IV, PICU and/or Peds ED experience) – PM shift 19:00 to 07:00, 36 hours/week, with opportunity to staff rotor‑wing shifts and complete fixed‑wing transports.

Education Required: Associate's Degree – Nursing

Education Preferred: Bachelor's Degree – Nursing

• 3–5 years of nursing experience
• 1–2 years NICU experience
• 1–2 years PICU experience
• 1–2 years Pediatric nursing experience
• 1–2 years Neonatal experience

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse – Required
