Overview
We are currently looking for a Nurse Manager in our NICU at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a full time day shift position. Our Level IV NICU is staffed with an unparalleled team of neonatal nurses, neonatologists and maternal-fetal specialists, 24 hours a day, providing the highest level of intensive care designated in Florida. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily operations of a nursing unit and supervising the nursing personnel in a particular unit or department.
Other duties include:
- Delegates tasks to a nursing staff, manages and checks the nursing schedule, ensures that all shifts are covered
- Oversees patient care, makes management and budgetary decisions, coordinates meetings, and makes personnel decisions
- Responsible for recruiting new team members and conducting performance reviews
