Registered Nurse, Heart Rhythm Center (EP), Baptist Jacksonville Downtown

Baptist Health is hiring an Electrophysiology Registered Nurse to join our specialized Heart Rhythm Center team at the Baptist Jacksonville (Downtown) Heart Hospital. This is a full‑time, Monday‑through‑Thursday, shift opportunity from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am (no weekends, no holidays; occasional late shifts may be required). EP experience preferred.

The EP RN will provide care to patients during procedures, including performing continuous assessment and support during ablations, device implantations, and other electrophysiology interventions. The RN will collaborate with pre‑procedure nurses, assist with scrub and monitor duties, wear X‑ray lead protection, provide moderate sedation when needed, and communicate hand‑off information to recovery and other areas.

• Assess patient readiness before procedures and communicate concerns to the physician.
• Collaborate with pre‑procedure nurses to ensure patients are prepared.
• Provide continuous assessment and support during procedures such as ablations and cardiac device implantations.
• Cross‑train to fill scrub and monitor roles during EP procedures.
• Assist with patient transport to recovery bays with anesthesia and wear X‑ray lead protection.
• Provide moderate sedation during procedures not covered by anesthesia.
• Communicate hand‑off information to recovery and other receiving areas.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 1–2 years cardiac experience (telemetry experience preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required;
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Conscious Sedation Certification, and Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse required.
