Baptist Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for our Operating Room unit at the Baptist South location. This is a full‑time position with a commitment of 36 hours per week.

• Provide nursing care to patients on the unit.
• Assess and reassess unit function; serve as a liaison for staff, physicians, and other departments.
• Act as a resource and mentor for staff, providing growth feedback.
• Monitor and adjust man‑hours in accordance with the unit budget.
• Assist the manager with disciplinary issues and annual performance reviews.
• Facilitate any special needs of the surgeon, meet with vendors, and keep preference sheets current.
• Perform any role in the service (scrub, assist, or circulate).

Required: Associate's Degree – Nursing

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree – Nursing

• Medical Surgical Experience – Required
• Post‑Surgical Nursing Experience – Required
• General Nursing Experience – Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse – Required
