- Position will manage a growing 23 bed ED that sees over 48,000 annual patient visits
- Very well-supported by a team of Assistant Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses and a Department Educator
- Reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer
Primary responsibilities will include the strategic and visionary direction of the department, establishing goals and objectives, serving as a mentor to the nursing team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building and maintaining positive physician relationships. We are seeking a collaborative and dynamic leader who will be able to ensure the best patient care is provided to the community.
Qualifications & Requirements for Director, Emergency Department (RN):- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active RN License
- 5+ years of ER clinical nursing experience required
- 2+ years of ER leadership experience at Manager level or above
- INSPIRATIONAL and collaborative leadership style
- Proven track record of success in leading teams, improving employee engagement, ED metrics, and patient experience/satisfaction
- Must be able to build positive and collaborative relationships across all levels
