Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jacksonville, FL, for a Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with patients and medical staff to assess, diagnose, and treat foot and ankle conditions. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient evaluations, managing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and engaging in patient education to promote optimal recovery and prevention of ongoing issues. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care tailored to individual patient needs.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Strong knowledge and experience in diabetic foot care, wound care, and medical management of sports-related injuries
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with medical staff
  • Ability to perform minor in-office procedures and provide post-treatment care
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification recognized in the state of Florida
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems to ensure accurate and efficient documentation
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare with a focus on quality outcomes
  • Previous experience in podiatry, orthopedics, or related field is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment
