We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full‑time night shift position in our Labor and Delivery Unit at Baptist Medical Center South. As a Labor and Delivery RN at Baptist South you will provide holistic patient care and support the team in delivering quality outcomes.

• Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement.
• Organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Serve as the patient advocate and be responsible for nursing care in newborn nursery and postpartum units, including caring for the antepartum patient, high‑risk postpartum patient, and the mother/baby couplet.

• Associate's Degree – Nursing

• Bachelor's Degree – Nursing

• 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
• Less than 1 year Newborn Nursery Experience
• Less than 1 year Mother/Baby Nursing Experience

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification – Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Registered Nurse Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (RNC EFM) – Preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse – Required
