Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is now hiring Registered Nurses for our ICU Flex/Float Team. This is a PRN position requiring a commitment of 1 shift a week. Openings for day shifts (12 hr). Self‑scheduling. ICU experience only. May float to PCU as needed. Ability to be flexible and float between Downtown and one other campus.
Job SummaryProvide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition. Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement. Educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care. Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital. Coordinate care provided by ancillary services. Act as the patient advocate. Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.
Education RequiredBachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Education PreferredBachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Experience- 2 years Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Experience Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification Preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
