Job Summary
Baptist Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for our Neuro Med Surg PCU Team in the Weaver Tower at Baptist Downtown. This is a full‑time night shift opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Providing nursing care to patients on the unit
- The assessment and reassessment of unit function; serves as a liaison for staff, physicians and other departments.
- Providing resource for staff members as well as mentors growth and provides feedback to staff.
- Monitoring/adjusting manhours in accordance with unit budget.
- Assisting manager with disciplinary issues and annual performance reviews.
Education Required
Associate's Degree - Nursing
Education Preferred
Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
Experience
- 3-5 Years Nursing Experience
License and Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
