We are looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager for our Med/Surg Department at Baptist South. This full‑time nighttime position requires 36 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from 1845 to 0715.

Baptist Health is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager to oversee and direct patient care in the Med/Surg unit. The role involves managing operations, staffing, and quality of care for patients requiring immediate medical, surgical or other treatment.

• Oversee and provide direct care to patients needing immediate treatment.
• Assist the Director of Med/Surg unit/area operations.
• Collaborate with direct personnel to ensure quality patient care.
• Facilitate patient throughput.
• Lead implementation of changes.
• Coach and develop unit personnel.
• Take direct patient care assignments as needed.
• Plan staffing and scheduling of unit personnel.

• Associate's Degree – Nursing (required).
• Bachelor's Degree – Nursing (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of Medical Surgical experience.
• Telemetry experience.
• Charge nurse experience.
• Leadership experience.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse – required.
