Registered Nurse, Cardiac Surgical Progressive Care, Nights, Baptist

Join Baptist Health as a Registered Nurse on the Cardiac Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in the Heart Hospital at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time night shift position located in Baptist Jacksonville (Downtown). Nurses on this unit provide care for patients with postoperative open heart and thoracic lung cases. A sign-on bonus of $3,750 is available.

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Serve as patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

• Education Required:
  
  Associate's Degree - Nursing
• Education Preferred:
  Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

• Less than 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
• Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
