Job Summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring Registered Nurses for our ICU Flex/Float Team. This is a PRN position requiring a commitment of one shift per week on the nights (12‑hour shifts). Schedule is self‑scheduled. Applicants must have ICU experience and may float to PCU as needed. Ability to be flexible and float between Downtown and one other campus is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Act as the patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 2 years Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Experience Required

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
