We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our well-established Family Practice office in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner looking to build a strong patient base and make a meaningful impact in healthcare in a traditional family practice setting. The candidate will get pay as 1099 independent contractor.
Responsibilities- Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans
- Complete a thorough review of digital medical records
- Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims
- Submit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim.
- All exams will take place at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access provided.
- Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, and chronic conditions.
- Ordering and interpreting X-rays and laboratory tests to assist in diagnoses.
- Conducting comprehensive physical exams.
- Facilit referrals to specialists and coordinating with other healthcare providers.
- Collaborating closely with our staff to ensure the best care for our patients
- Must be able to perform exams a minimum of 1 to 3 days per week
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioners (autonomous preferred)
- One year Experience or some prior VA work is ideal.
- Design your own schedule
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work autonomous
- Florida NP/PA License
- Proven experience as a nurse practitioner
- Excellent knowledge of the nursing process
- Excellent knowledge of patient care
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
- A team leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
- MSN from a nursing program
- Valid Florida APRN nursing license
- BLS or CPR certified
- Professional liability or malpractice insurance

Pay: $200.00 - $400.00 per day
