Job Posting Summary

We are looking for a Clinical Resource Nurse to join our Oncology Progressive Care team in the Weaver Tower at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.

Our Oncology Progressive Care team is focused on providing individualized quality care to patients with cancer related diagnoses and blood disorders. Nurses on this unit are specially trained in caring for people with cancer and have received additional education in the biology of cancer and chemotherapy. We have some exciting developments ahead, as we will be expanding our oncology care to include CAR-T and Stem Cell therapies over the next year!

As a Clinical Resource Nurse for the Oncology PCU, you will:

* Assess learning needs of oncology staff, patient/staff rounding,

* Assist with discharge chemotherapy teaching

* Work with Oncology Educator & Nurse Managers to coordinate preceptorship and new hire orientation

* Hands on resource for oncology team & the administration of chemo/biotherapy

Education

MSN required within 18 months of hire.
