Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital LDRPN unit specializing in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
- 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week
- Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:30
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday shifts required if scheduled during the contract
- Care for laboring, delivering, and postpartum mothers and newborns
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring patients, support deliveries, and monitor maternal and newborn health
- Holiday coverage is required if scheduled
- All positions are auto offer
- Local candidates are accepted but are subject to a reduced rate based on a facility-specific radius rule
- Active RN license with Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP (AHA/AAP)
- Fetal Monitoring certification (AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent within last 2 years if not covered on competency exam)
- Must provide a US Social Security Number and valid US home address
- Submission must include full SSN, full DOB, 2 separate professional references, skills checklist, ATSP cover sheet, copies of certifications and Nursys license verification, and driver's license
