Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full‑time night shift opportunity.

The Pediatric ED provides specialized emergency care for infants, children, and adolescents. This role is ideal for nurses passionate about pediatric care in a fast‑paced, family‑centered environment.

• Provide emergency care to pediatric patients
• Administer medications per policy
• Educate families on diagnosis and treatment plans
• Collaborate with pediatric specialists and care teams
• Coordinate care with ancillary services
• Serve as a patient and family advocate
• Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement
• Organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel
• Coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serve as patient advocate and be responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses

• 3–5 years Clinical Experience (required)
• 1 year Emergency Nursing Experience (required)

• Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required)
• TNCC, NRP, ENPC (required)

• ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs
• PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and required within 6 months for WCH ED
