Baptist Downtown is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy Team in Jacksonville, FL.
This is a PRN position.
Registered NurseJob Responsibilities
- Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Provide care and monitoring for critical patients requiring a higher acuity of care
- Coordinate and supervise care provided by supportive personnel
- Coordinate care with ancillary services to support safe and effective patient outcomes
- Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing individualized plans of care
- Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, procedures, treatments, and plans of care
- Serve as a patient advocate and promote patient safety, dignity, and satisfaction
- Endoscopy or Procedural Nursing Experience (preferred)
- Experience caring for higher-acuity or critical care patients (preferred)
- Hospital or acute care nursing experience (preferred)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
