Our talented team of Anesthetists enjoy a wide scope of practice and provide anesthesia for all types of cases except pediatrics. The unique opportunity to provide obstetric and cardiothoracic anesthesia is offered to those interested. In addition to general, orthopedic, and gynecologic surgeries, neurosurgical anesthesia includes spine surgery, stroke interventions, aneurysm coiling, craniotomies, and open neurovascular. Supervision ratios are typically 1:3 or 1:4.

Proficiency with regional blockade is not a requirement, however, Anesthetists will perform spinals and arterial lines. Weekend and weekday call is required but is infrequent and taken at home by beeper. US Anesthesia Partners is currently hiring qualified Anesthetists for a variety of shifts including but not limited to 13s, 12/8s, 10s, 24/8s.

A recent partnership with The MD Anderson Cancer Center serves the communities’ growing need for comprehensive cancer treatment including surgical cancer intervention. Altogether approximately 18,000 surgical procedures were performed in the 35 operating suites in 2018 at this location.
