Registered Nurse, Cardiac Surgical Progressive Care, Nights, Baptist

Baptist Downtown is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Surgical Progressive Care Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full time night shift opportunity. Nurses on this unit care for patients with post-operative open heart and thoracic lung cases.

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Serve as patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

• 1 year Clinical Nursing Experience Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• Associate of Science, Nursing

Associate Degree (AA/AS)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards
• Driver's License - DMV
