Summary
QC Inspector will be responsible to conduct inspections, aid in implementing a rigid quality system, maintain proper documentation, reports and keep a reliable paper trail in support of manufacturing and in conformance with customer requirements within a FAA 145 Repair Station. Also, investigates product quality problems and recommends changes or improvements.
Job Functions- Perform and document inspections on product and processes including inspection of seats, Monuments and components as they are being repaired.
- Perform receiving inspection of raw materials, parts and components.
- Ability to inspect First article to AS 9102.
- Prepare in-process inspection report ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain Quality documentation.
- Identify the serviceability of parts and components and appropriate tooling.
- Utilize inspection tools (i.e., multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, bond meter etc.).
- Utilize various measuring devices and gauges, read and interpret part documentation including blue prints. Proficient with PC, manufacturing software and be able to utilize the Internet as well as be familiar with MS office.
- As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
- Management must contact the Human Resources department to add to or change a significant number of duties.

Minimum Education And Training- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school (or)
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training, or combination of education and experience.
- Airframe & Powerplant License highly desired.
- Knowledge of inspection techniques and tools within a FAA 145 repair station.
- Thorough understanding of FAR's and regulations pertaining to aircraft maintenance part 145.
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- Be proficient with PC and be familiar with MS office.
- Knowledge of quality control.
- Ability to interact with a group of coworkers.
- Ability to work with complex equipment.
- Ability to establish procedures.
- Ability to work in a production-oriented environment.
- Ability to work under frequently changing priorities.
- Ability to select and evaluate priorities.
- Ability to read and comprehend documentation written in the English language.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑starter with ability to multi‑task and prioritize work day/projects independently.
- Ability to travel.
- Stands at least 75% of each workday.
